For many people, growing their hair is a hard thing to do. With so many things (heat tools, weather, exposure to the sun, and many more) constantly attacking the hair, it becomes hard for individuals to maintain a healthy, long mane. While these individuals opt for commercial hair products that make false promises about how their hair will be healthy and luscious, they are often wrong. Therefore, it is time to choose natural masks that will make your hair grow faster.

1. Coconut milk

According to many hair experts, coconut milk is seen as one of the most effective natural remedy that makes your hair grow. Just like this coconut milk leave-in conditioner. The reason is that this milk is rich in essential fats, iron, and potassium, which is why it is good for your hair and scalp.

To make the mask, all you will need is:

  • fresh coconut milk
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 4 drops of lavender essential oil

Mix it until you achieve a smooth consistency and apply it to your scalp. Let it stay for 4 to 5 hours and then wash it out. For best results, do this 2 to 3 times a week and notice your hair transform.

2. Apple cider vinegar

Unlike white vinegar, this vinegar has the ability to gently clean the scalp while maintaining the pH balance of your hair so it promotes hair growth.

To make this hair mask, you will need to dilute 75 mL of apple cider vinegar with one liter of water (these measurements are for people with long hair or for large batches), or you can mix 15 mL of cider vinegar with 1 cup of warm water.

Use this mixture as the final rinse when you are done washing your hair. This way your hair will look shinier while you are boosting its growth. For best results, do this 2 to three times a week.

3. Fenugreek

Fenugreek is an herb that has been used for decades as a remedy for various hair issues. It is rich in nicotinic acid and proteins that are extremely important in encouraging hair growth. You will need to take one (full) tablespoon of this herb and water. In a grinder, mix it until a paste has formed. You can add a little coconut oil (or coconut milk) and start applying it to your scalp and hair. For the easiest application, we recommend using a hair dye brush. Let it stay on your head for half an hour and then wash it off with a mild shampoo.

For best results, do this 2 to three times a week.

4. Onion juice

Onion juice is a popular resort because it has high levels of sulphur in it that are known to boost the production of collagen, which then helps new hair to grow. This is one of the smellier natural masks. Although, the smell of this concoction is quite strong, it tends to go away after one wash.

You will need to cut onions in slice and squeeze it until the juice comes out. You can also mash it or grate it to get the juice.

Once you have the juice, apply it on your scalp, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash it off with a mild shampoo. For best results, do this 2 to three times a week.

Just by doing these natural remedies, you will be able to see a significant difference in your hair. Do them regularly and stay consistent so the results are even better.
