Dermology Review – Is This Really the Last Skincare Treatment You’ll Ever Need

Dermology Review

Let’s be honest, there’s no shortage of skincare treatments on the today — everywhere you look there’s another cream promising amazing results, as long as you can pay a pretty penny. It can be difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff with so much white noise coming in. So we’ve attempted to take an unbiased look at many of the treatments on the market to evaluate them for what they really provide.

Dermology ReviewAn Introduction to Dermology

In comparison to Stemuderm, which encourages customers to use its offerings together to achieve holistic results, or DermaSet which specializes in anti-aging treatments, Dermology’s anti-aging solution is part of a range of cosmetic treatments, including a cellulite solution, hair removal cream and a skin brightener. All of these products are marketed on separate compartmentalized sites, bearing the Dermology brand name.

Taking a look at the website, the effect is unfortunately somewhat less than professional. Dermology makes use of stock photos to promote its product’s effects, with no clear testimonials or before & after pictures provided for customer benefit. The website provides little detailed information, but from what we can tell the main benefits offered are in line with other anti-aging treatments, and they include: reduction in fine lines and visible wrinkles, improvement in skin firmness and elasticity, protection from future signs of aging.

Dermology: A Closer Look

It’s somewhat difficult to get a more in-depth look at Dermology, since much of the information provided on the website is generalized with few specific examples given.

On the “How it Works” section of the website, there’s a brief overview of the three main ingredients used in the cream. These ingredients are: hyaluronic acid, agierline and Matrixyl 3000. In the prescribed formula, these substances are supposed to provide cellular level moisture infusion, relaxed muscle fibers and more healthy looking skin.

As cosmetics insiders, we’re aware that these are high-quality ingredients that do have proven anti-aging effects. However Dermology’s website makes no mention of any research, or medical testimony which backs up their claims; leaving customers in the dark about exactly what they’re getting. In comparison to similar anti-aging treatments, Dermology also has far fewer active ingredients advertised, which definitely gives us some doubts about its efficacy.

No clear information regarding pricing is given on the website, but further research tells us that the product is pitched at a comparatively lower-range price point of around $50. While Dermology does not offer a free trial, or a subscription model, it does offer a 60-day money-back guarantee for customers.

Dermology: An Anti-Aging Solution?

Trying to assess Dermology’s claims is difficult for first-time customers — there’s little detailed information provided on the website and no direct customer testimonials. In fact, even the product’s price seems to be obscured on the order form. While we’re well aware of the anti-aging benefits offered by Hyaluronic acid and argireline, we would have greatly appreciated more insight into how the Dermology formula was concocted, and how its active ingredients fit together.

Dermology: Pros and Cons

  • Some high-quality ingredients at a comparatively lower price range
  • No medical testimony
  • No clear customer endorsements or reviews
  • Little detailed product information
  • No free trial
  • Too many general stock photos, with little specific, relevant information provided.

Should You Buy It?

If you’re looking to try out an anti-aging solution that’s comparatively cheaper than much of the competition, then you might be best served trying out Dermology and availing the 60-day money back offer if it doesn’t work. Based on the information provided, and the general tone of the content however, we’d recommend the more proven anti-aging solutions already on the market.
