We always read in womens’ magazines about how ladies often struggle with cellulite. In the advice section you will find at least one or two questions about “how to get rid of cellulite.” The answers given to them are unfortunately not enough, which is why we will see a similar question in the next month’s issue as well.
Cellulite is the term given to pockets of fat that have been squeezed in between bands of different tissues. These tissues are called septaes and they are present right under your skin.
Worse news is that it does not matter if you are thin or thick: if you have this in your genes, or if your hormones fluctuate too much, then you are bound to get cellulite. Other than that, your diet and lifestyle may also have a huge role to play. If you consume an unhealthy foods with a sedentary lifestyle then you will see some cellulite here and there.
So, how do you get ride of this problem? There are some tried and tested ways that women have used to get rid of cellulite.
Dry brushing
This has been one of the most non-scientifically proven famous methods of removing cellulite. Ideally it has always been used to remove dead skin but sometimes it is also useful for the elimination of cellulite. This method tends to open the pores of your skin and deep clean it. You should do this every day, and if possible, try doing it twice in a day. Start from your toes and then keep brushing in circular motions up to the chest.
Coffee scrub
These are also very famous in helping get rid of stubborn cellulite. The massage and exfoliation tend to help with stimulating the blood flow and the caffeine present in the coffee helps brighten the skin. Pinterest is sprinkled with pictures showing women make coffee scrub wraps. It is harmless to try and pretty inexpensive too.
Combine coffee grounds, brown sugar, and coconut oil together, according to your requirements. Scoop some of the mixture in your hands and rub it is circular motions on the skin. Keep doing this at least 2-3 times a week.
Kettle bells
Exercises using a kettle bell are very useful if you wish to tone the thighs, buttocks, and stomach. It is very important to promote blood flow in areas that have cellulite and so kettle bells are one of the best ways to do so. They will help your burn fat and at the same time build muscles; both of which help minimize the appearance of cellulite immediately.
Omega 3
Sometimes the consumption of the wrong kind of fat can lead to production, and difficulty in removal, of cellulite. This is why Omega-3 fatty acids are known to be the best kind of fat to consume if you wish to have smooth skin. It is a possibility that taking this along with fat soluble vitamins will be able to give you a smooth cellulite free skin, though it is yet to be scientifically proven. Either way, these two elements are always good for the body and skin so it wouldn’t hurt to try.
These are natural remedies that always take time to work, and even if they don’t in your case they will still bring one benefit or another.
