Ok so you have been asked out by the cute guy at work or are going out on a date with your partner after a long time. It is time to turn things up and get your glam on and look your best. But you don’t know what look to go with. Avoid dolling up and looking like you’re too excited ; also, you want to avoid looking like you’re going to get your groceries. Here is a date night look that will make you look fabulous:

Things you will need

Besides the primer and foundation here is a list of things that you need to create this look:

  • Bronzer
  • Brow palette
  • Blush
  • Concealer
  • Foundation
  • Highlighter
  • Liquid liner
  • Lipstick
  • Mascara
  • White eye pencil

Ready? Let’s start!

Prep your skin

The first step is to always prep your skin before makeup. Wash your face and make sure that there is no previous makeup or oiliness on your face. Then apply a primer on your face evenly. If you have normal to dry skin, then use silicone or cream-based primer. And if you have combination to oily skin, then use a water based primer. If you don’t have a primer at hand, then just apply the moisturizer that you normally use.

Foundation

Again, foundation always depends upon what skin type you have. If you have oily skin, then go for a water or powder based foundation. And if you have normal to dry skin then use a cream or liquid foundation.

Concealer

Your concealer should always be a shade or two lighter than your foundation. This is to ensure that any dark spots or dark circles can be easily covered to give you a flawless look with an even skin tone. Cover your under-eye area with your concealer and blend it in.

Contour

Contouring is a way for you to get a sun-kissed look for your skin. It balances out all the paleness given by your foundation and concealer. Apply the bronzer to the contours of your face i.e. lower cheekbones, chin and forehead and blend it in to sharpen your features.

Highlight

What better time to wear a highlighter than to a night out? Simply sweep a bit of the fairy dust on the upper cheekbones area.

Blush

Use a slight peachy or pink toned blush and sweep it across the apples of your cheeks to give that innocent flushed out look.

Eyebrows

Fill in your brows and give them a fuller shape. Choose the shade that best matches your eye brow hair from the brow palette.

Make those eyes pop

Take the white eye pencil and use it over your waterline. This will give the illusion of bigger eyes and make your eyes stand out even more. Use the liquid eyeliner to make a cat eye look. After that, apply mascara to only the top lashes.

Lipstick

No look is complete without the lipstick. Choose a berry shade lipstick as it suits most sink tones. Wear a liquid lipstick and let it dry. Apply an opaque gloss over to set the look.
