Night time Routine to Wake up Beautiful

night time routine

Every woman wants to wake up looking like they do in the movies, all flawless with a morning glow.  Here are the beauty secrets that you must include in your night time routine to wake up looking your best:

Get adequate sleep

They call it beauty sleep for a reason. You might take sleeping hours for granted but even a little bit of a change in your sleeping pattern can affect your body and it’s health.  It is important to have 7-9 hours of sleep every night so that your skin is rejuvenated and has a glow to it. At night, the skin repairs any cellular damage so it is important that you get plenty of sleep time.

Remove all the makeup

No matter how late you get in or how tired you feel, your makeup must come off during your night time routine. Your skin needs to breathe because the makeup is going to clog up the pores causing you to break out. Have makeup removing wipes handy in your purse or keep them on your night stand so that even if you are too tired to walk all the way to wash your face, you can at least remove all the makeup from the comfort of your bed.

Give your hands and feet some love

Your hands and feet are usually neglected when it comes to a night routine. Make sure to get some great moisturizers for hands and feet or a body lotion and apply evenly before hitting the bed. Your hands will always look supple and you will never have cracked heels.

Cleanse your skin

Cleansing is an essential part of a night time routine. Even if you don’t do anything else, if you just do cleansing correctly, you have at least got your basics right. Removing all impurities and dirt from your face at night is important. Your pores need oxygen and if they are clogged up with sebum, dust particles and what not, it can lead to skin allergies, acne and wrinkles. Depending on the skin type, you can either take milk based cleansers or oil based ones and cleanse using cotton pads.

Eye cream

Use a strong collagen based night cream for under and around the eyes so that your eyes don’t look puffy and have no dark circles. You can also use a small amount of your anti-aging cream, applying gently with your pinkies.

A hair repair product

Let’s not forget your beautiful tresses and locks. Apply organic oil (coconut, argan, olive etc) and wear a cap. You can also use a hair reparative product that will seal and nourish the hair cuticles and repair any damage. Your hair will be shinier and smoother in the morning and ready to be styled easily.

Braid hair

If you take a bath at night because you are pressed for time in the morning, then make sure to braid your freshly washed hair. Apply a coin sized amount of soft-holding hair serum and run it through your hair before braiding. You will have loose beachy waves in the morning.

If you include even half of all these tips, you will surely wake up beautiful in the morning!
