The world is obsessing over thick eyebrows these days. People draw over their brows to give them a fuller look. There are plenty of eyebrow products in the market, but none of them lasts a long time. All of those products get removed in just one wash.
If you are tired of filling your eyebrows everyday, here is a solution for you – microblading. Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow treatment. By this treatment you can fake fuller eyebrows that look totally natural. It is a type of architecture which is all about creating the best shape for each and every face. This process uses a sloped blade with 10-12 needles at the end. These needles delicately scratch the surface of your skin and implant featherweight strokes, creating fine, realistic hair strokes.
Things you Need to Know About Microblading
Microblading is not permanent, the color fades within 18 months. It is not like tattooing, because it is done on the surface of your skin, not in the deep layer. The hair strokes look more natural than a tattoo. Microblading is a very safe process, but always make sure to perform a patch test to check whether you are allergic to it or not.
Before microblading, your brow area is threaded. This is how the area gets cleaned up and gets prepared for the treatment. Then a topical ointment is used on your brows for numbing it. It takes around 40 minutes for the area to get completely numb. Then 10 minutes before starting the process, your eyebrows will get measured to check your face shape and facial features. Then the needling process will begin.
The strokes are superficial lines in the skin where the color pigment settles in. More numbing cream can be added to this process if you feel any discomfort. Then a final layer of pigment is added which stays on for 5 minutes and then the area gets cleaned. There is a top-up session in 6-8 weeks, where they fill in any gaps where the pigment hasn’t taken up.
After Care Instructions:
Once you are done with your microblading, you will have to follow these instructions.
- Avoid picking or scratching your eyebrows
- Your eyebrows will heal over, but it might cause some irritation which is totally normal.
- Your eyebrows will change color in the next 10 days. It can become flaky and can look faded, but this is completely normal. Their final color and shape will be revealed after 30 days.
