Any skincare expert/lover/guru knows that deodorant wipes are unusual. You have solids, roll-ons and sprays – but wipes? That’s an innovative concept. Not new, yet innovative.
But does it work?
Although we didn’t get our hands on Pacifica’s latest underarm product, we thoroughly reviewed its pros and cons. Even though it retails at $9, we know our readers don’t want to waste any money on a useless product. So what’s the deal with these underarm deodorant wipes?
Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes
First things first, the underarm deodorant wipes are not intended to replace your deodorant. Their design is for times when you can’t shower and freshen up during the day. This includes people who work-out before work and can’t hit the showers; also people who are heavy sweaters and can’t stay fresh. If you live in a state that’s sunny and humid year round, such as Florida, it can also come in handy.
However, you should apply your deodorant every morning when using this product. Important note: don’t buy name brand products, as they’re known to contain harmful chemicals. We suggest deodorants such as Essance Skincare’s Organic Deodorant, which we currently reviewed.
Pacifica’s latest product helps get rid of excess perspiration, but it isn’t an anti-perspirant. It’s infused with natural ingredients that fight odor, such as a blend of natural oils.
Who Can Use This?
According to Pacifica, everyone can use it (even people with sensitive skin) and we happen to agree. That is, unless you aren’t a heavy sweater and smell fresh all day long (does such a person exist?).

Some of the ingredients in Pacifica’s Underarm Deodorant Wipes are ones we can’t pronounce and are fairly unfamiliar with. However, many well-known, high-quality ingredients stand out at the top of the list. Here’s why we love the following ingredients in their product:
Witch Hazel: This ingredient reduces skin irritations and soothes soar skin. Because we aren’t very kind to our underarms (razors and waxes can be harmful), the witch hazel can provide relief to sensitive, soar skin. Good for razor burns.
Shea Butter: Shea butter, a natural ingredient that we love, helps moisturize our underarms and reduce inflammation.
Coconut Milk: This ingredient has so many skin and hair benefits,but how can it benefit your underarms? First, it moisturizes the skin. Second, it treats skin ailments, much like witch hazel. This can go a long way for irritated pits.
Glycerin: This is a wonderful ingredient and we’re pleased to find it in Pacifica’s list of ingredients. Glycerin can nourish your underarms so they stay healthy. Additionally, it heals and protects your skin. There are many healing ingredients in their product, which every underarm needs.
Honestly, we wish these more natural ingredients were further up on the list. But the good news is, this product is said to smell delightful and that doesn’t come from fragrances. It comes from natural essential oils.
