The Benefits of Juicing for Clear Skin

Drinking freshly extracted juices (also known as juicing) from various fruits and vegetables to get healthy, glowing skin is what people all over the world do.

It is undoubtedly the easiest and the simplest way to have healthy and radiant skin. Plus, healthy juices are not simply beneficial for the skin. In fact, these juices are useful for the growth of hair and nails as well.

But since the topic of our discussion is the benefits of juicing for our skin, we’ll mainly talk on how different types of fruits and vegetable juices benefit skin only.

1. Pineapple

2. Carrots

Carrots contain vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, which is a powerful antioxidant that prevents the skin from premature aging, and makes it look radiant and young.

It also contains vitamin C, which helps to produce an essential protein – collagen. The collagen is significant for preventing wrinkles and reduces the signs of aging considerably. Moreover, the potassium that is found in carrots plays a key role in the production of new skin cells. These new, fresh cells reduce the chances of having acne or red pores and dark spots.

To have a clear and radiant skin without any acne, try juicing two ground carrots, one apple and one ginger in a blender. Drink the juice early in the morning every day.

For a glowing skin, peel ½ carrots, ½ gingers and 1 beetroot. Mix them in a blender to make a fresh and healthy juice and drink it regularly.

3. Beetroots

For a clearer and healthier skin, it is necessary that your blood is cleansed. Beetroots are healthy veggies that cleanse the skin blood of all the germs.

Also, it is packed with other nutrients that nourish the skin naturally such as:

  • vitamin C
  • iron
  • copper
  • magnesium
  • calcium

4. Watercress

Watercress may appear to be better suited for your salad, but the vegetable can be a great source for glowing skin. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial element, which treats various skin conditions like acne and rosacea.

Also, its soothing and cleaning nature protects the skin from excessive itching and burning skin conditions such as eczema. Thus, the protection from all of these severe conditions can keep your skin healthy and germ-free.

Other types of juices which can provide numerous benefits to your skin include kale, celery, papaya, lemons, aloe vera, and ginger.

The best part is that you can easily make these juices at home instantly. And you will not only get to enjoy their tasty flavors but you will also get to see their positive impact on your skin.
