We all know how important it is to maintain good health and not only that but also be pleased within ourselves about the way we look and feel. Everyone must have heard the term ‘you are what you eat’, similarly, there is ‘you are what you drink’.
If you have been eating unhealthy or having too much fun at one too many happy hours, you know you need an immediate cleanse. Here is where detoxifying comes in handy if we need a cleanse. Before going on a juice cleanse or a detox, it is important to remember the juices or smoothies must be organic, home-made, and freshly pressed. We must also ensure that these detox juices have seasonal fruits and vegetables, no added sugar or preservatives, no flavor enhancers, and should contain sufficient vitamins and minerals.
The recipes mentioned below have been tried and tested by many who have greatly benefited from them. Speaking for myself, I have seen quite a few changes as I started, and incorporated exercise as well in my daily routine just to maintain overall healthy body weight. My recipes consist more of smoothies and less of cold-pressed juices, but nevertheless both have helped me immensely and hopefully, if you try, you will see the wonderful changes I felt too.

These detox juices and smoothies can be consumed as a snack or in the evening as a pre or post workout meal. It is suggested to avoid consuming at night and instead suggested to have a cup of green or peppermint tea before sleeping. Incorporating these drinks in your daily routine can help put you on the path of betterment.
