Below are a few natural remedies that can be used to treat cellulite which you can try. These may reduce the appearance of cellulite on your skin.

1) Dry Skin Brushing

Dry skin brushing is a wonderful technique. It increases skin circulation, excites skin cell turnover, exfoliates the skin and rejuvenates it, and makes your skin feel very soft and smooth.

Moreover, dry skin brushing also tends to improve the lymph fluids’ flow which enables the removal of toxins that can add to cellulite.

The cherry on the top: dry skin brushing feels awesome. It is a great thing to wake up to before you take your morning shower. For this, all you need is a body brush with a long handle and natural bristles. Is that too much to buy? Of course, not!

2. Scrub with Coffee Grounds (The Caffeine Effect)

It is not only your taste buds that love caffeine, your skin does too. Even better, your cellulite hates it. Caffeine present in coffee grounds is great for tightening the skin and toning its surface temporarily while the coffee grounds stimulate skin circulation and exfoliate it.

Several people have seen good results with this method and if you are worried about coffee grounds going into your septic tank, you can even use creams with caffeine that serve the same purpose.

Another alternative you can go for is adding coffee grounds to homemade soap. Since there aren’t a lot of grounds in the soap, you don’t have to worry about the drain either.

3. Cellulite Massage with Essential Oils

Some essential oils have proven to effect cellulite and work really well in toning the skin and breaking down fats.  Common essential oils that can help include juniper, rosemary, grapefruit, lemon, etc.  These can also improve the circulation in your legs and rear which is very important.

The combination of essential oils exfoliate the skin and bring about a lot of improvement in its elasticity. With just a month of usage, you will notice more tone to your leg and rear’s skin. Apart from all the benefits, essential oils smell great and provide many added benefits!

4. Herbal Teas

Herbal loose leaf teas will work great on your skin. These herbal teas give you the nutrients of the herbs and can even support weight loss if used with the proper combination of herbs. Keep in mind that the fresher the tea leaves are, the better it is for your skin.

Herbs that help with cleansing and detoxifying such as diuretics can be combined with those that improve and hold up energy like green tea and eleuthero etc. and some other ones that help improve circulation and heart health.

5. Exercise

Yes, we all fight with this one. You may find it really hard to drag yourself to the gym especially when you have work, children or just a LIFE. Nonetheless, the health benefits of exercise can’t ever be neglected. It can definitely help in reducing the appearance of cellulite.
