Turmeric

Turmeric is an old spice that is known to do wonders to your skin. Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 4 tablespoons of gram flour and some milk and water. Now mix the turmeric powder with the gram flour and add enough water or milk that it could turn the powder into a paste. Then apply the mask to your face and leave it for 10 to 20 minutes or until it dries. Rinse it off using warm water and enjoy your glowing skin. Make sure to use this remedy once or twice a week.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil works best for dry and dull skin because it locks the moisture in your skin and nourishes it. Take virgin coconut oil and warm it up a little, then apply it to your face and massage it into your skin in circular motion. Leave the oil in overnight and rinse your face off in the morning. Use this remedy every night before going to bed.

Baking soda

Baking soda soothes your skin and exfoliates your dead skin cells. Take some baking soda and the same amount of extra virgin oil, then add some honey and mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Apply it on your face using circular motion and leave it to dry for 10 minutes. Rinse it with cold water and apply your moisturizer. Apply this mask on your face once or twice a week.

Lemon

Lemon has bleaching properties and it also cleanses your skin, and helps in removing a tan. Take 2 teaspoons of lemon and 2 teaspoons of sugar, mix these two ingredients together and then apply the scrub on your face in circular motion. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Repeat this remedy twice a week for glowing skin.

Papaya

Papaya contains an enzyme that works as a mild exfoliator. Take a ripe papaya, cut it into small pieces and then add some sandalwood powder and honey to it. Mix it together to form a paste and then apply it on your skin. Keep it on for 20 minutes before washing it with cool water. This remedy can be used once or twice a week.
