Have your ever been on a holiday which made you super tanned or maybe you are just one of those who can get tanned by just going out in the sun. Don’t worry girl, we got you covered. Here we are going to tell you about some ways by which you can get rid of the unwanted sun tan from your body.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice contains vitamin C and is known to lighten up your skin areas. Simply take a lemon and squeeze it into a bowl, then take a cotton ball and dip it in the lemon juice, apply it on your skin directly on the tanned areas and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water and see the result for yourself.

Tomato juice

Tomato juice is highly acidic just like lemons with high levels of antioxidant. This antioxidant can help you get rid of the unwanted tan on your body. Take a bowl, squeeze the juice out of your tomato into it and then gently apply it on your tanned areas, leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Repeat this process daily to see the results fast.

Vitamin E

You can get vitamin E naturally by eating foods that contain vitamin E. You can either take it as a supplement or simply use it as an oil. Vitamin E also has antioxidants, which help fight your sunburn. Food such as almonds, peanut butter, avocados, green vegetables have vitamin E in it. Use the oil directly on your skin, it will provide hydration and will help you to get rid of the damage.

Apricots and papayas

Apricots and papayas have natural enzymes in it which can help you cut the sun tan. Cut slices from both the fruits, make a paste and then apply it directly to your skin. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse the juice off by using warm water.

Kojic acid

There are plenty of products that contain kojic acid such as oils, soaps, gels and lotions. Kojic acid is known to lighten up any skin condition because it is derived from fungi. You might have to try all these products mentioned above to see which of them will work the best for you as they have different concentration of kojic acid.

Turmeric mask

This traditional old spice is something which people have been using on their skin since ages. Turmeric mask is used to remove facial hair, lighten up your skin and to give you a fine glow on your face. Take some turmeric and add a pinch of lemon juice, honey and milk and wheat flour to make a paste out of it and then apply the mixture on your skin by using a cotton ball. Leave it on until you feel it getting hard and then rinse it off with warm water. Turmeric may leave yellow patches on your skin. Use your make up remover to get rid of the patches.
