Healthy glowing skin is a combination of different factors such as diet, skincare and lifestyle. Your diet, however, plays a huge role in the way your skin looks. In order to have glowing, plump skin which ages well you must focus on your diet! The more anti-oxidants you consume in your diet, the more free-radicals (basically unstable particles floating around our body which can damage the skin by trying to grab an extra electron from atoms) in the skin will affect your skin and breakdown more and more collagen and elastin.

Fruit and Nut Mix
The simplest snack for glowing skin and internal health is fruits. Mixing some fresh fruits up with nuts make it all the more beneficial and tastes fantastic too. Here are some combinations that we love.

-Raw walnuts or almonds + 1 banana
-Raw cashew nuts + Fresh blueberries (1 cup)
-Raw pistachio nuts + Strawberries (2 cups sliced)

Smoothies
Coffee, banana and almond smoothie is our top favorite
RECIPE
-1/2 cup black brewed coffee (or 1/2 cup water)
-1 tablespoon almond butter
-1 or 2 medium frozen bananas
Just blend these ingredients together and add some ice.
This smoothie tastes absolutely delicious, fills you up and the caffeine is sure to give your brain a nudge. That’s not all, it also helps to give your skin that beautiful glow.

Yogurt Dip
Maple & cinnamon yogurt dip is our favorite.
RECIPE
– 1/2 cup unsweetened plain yogurt
– 1 tsp maple syrup
– 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Chop up some apples and dip them in this yoghurt dip. Thank us later for this great alternative to peanut butter.

Avocados help your body absorb many fat-soluble vitamins which also help protect your skin from sun damage.
By far the most delicious and easy recipe for glowing skin is Avocado on toast.

– One ripe avocado
– Slices of brown bread
– Salt and pepper for taste
All you need to do is chop up the avocado and put it on two crunchy slices of bread and enjoy!

This simple, easy and most beneficial snack only requires two ingredients and a functioning oven. Drizzle the kale leaves with some olive oil and leave them in the oven on low heat till they are crispy.
