Skin Care for Hungover-Sunday

Did you have a wild Saturday night?

Did you sleep with your make-up on?

Waking up with a hangover is no fun. Disheveled hair, unhealthy skin, dried insides – and that headache!

But don’t worry – once you’ve got a breakfast and some advil in you, here’s how you can rescue your hangover skin!

Cleanse, Cleanse, Cleanse:

Use a mild lotion cleanser or coconut oil to wipe the gunk off your face. Massage it well!

Follow up with a facial cleanser of your choice. Rise well and pat dry.

Mask Time!

It’s time to replenish your skin with some good old masks. Take your pick from one of these:

Turmeric Mask:
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp spoon of gram flour

Make into a paste using milk or rosewater. Massage well and let it dry!

Bentonite Clay Mask:
1 tsp spoon of this clay with some organic apple cider vinegar – or water if your skin’s sensitive. Let dry before washing off!

Oatmeal Mask:
Ground some oatmeal into fine powder. Add half a teaspoon of organic honey and some warm water to make a paste. Massage well and let it dry!

Hydrate and Replenish

Finish off your mask with one of the following:

  • Spritz of rosewater
  • Honey + Aloe Gel: blend together; apply, let dry, wash off!
  • Your favorite moisturizer

There you go! You’re ready for a dinner date on Sunday evening, and as a bonus, you’ll look well rested for work on Monday too! Don’t forget to hydrate!
